New Singers Scholarship Opportunity
Hoping to provide emerging singers with an opportunity to sing beautiful music and learn alongside experienced singers, the Ladyes are pleased to offer two choral scholarships for the 2025-26 season. The $500 scholarships will be awarded to vocal students ranging from high school to women in their twenties and thirties. Applicants should be currently studying voice and have strong reading skills and some performing experience. Scholarship recipients rehearse with the Ladyes weekly and perform four concerts (three in December, one in April). Rehearsals for the December concerts begin in mid-September; rehearsals for the April concert begin in mid-February. Scholarship applicants will be invited to audition with Ladyes director Jenny Gettel, and scholarship awards are at her discretion.
